I promised Bella that we would go to the zoo once this summer and we finally made it. School starts next week so technically we made it once this summer.My dad came with us and that was so much fan. We rode the train, saw all the animals, ran into my friend Leslie and her kids and rode on the merry-go-round. It was perfect day, only in the mid 80's.
Who knows, maybe next year I can try for twice in one summer.

So I am going to admit something about how often I take my kids to the zoo- I did not know they had a merry-go-round at the zoo. When did they put that in? The zoo is just too hot in the summer to look at hot, even smellier animals because of the heat.

I haven't even gone this year, so there ya go- we might try and go in the fall so it won't be so bloody hot!
