And Baby Makes 4!

We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a baby. I'm 11 weeks. For those of you not used to pregnancy talk, I'm in my 3rd month. All looks well this time (no repeats of what happened in February). We've heard a heart beat twice and seen an ultra sound. My doctor is taking extra good care of me. Bella is very excited. She tells us she has a baby in her tummy too and that it's a "baby girl sister". This is great timing since we just finished potty training. Anyway, we're so excited and wanted to share our news with everyone.

My Childhood Obsession

I have this strange obsession with the Spaghetti Factory. I guess anyone who knows me well, knows this. We went the other night and I seriously can't get enough. I'm pretty sure their target audience is 7 year olds, not 27 year olds, since they have that iceberg lettuce salad from a bag and offer ice cream as part of the dinner. But it's all I think about. I guess I should blame my parents since that was one of the first restaurants I remember going to. Even talking about it now, I'm getting hungry for the spaghetti with mizithra cheese. I guess the only way to satisfy my craving is to continue going back. I think Seth is done for awhile. Anyone interested?

Happy Father's Day!

I had to write just a little for Father's Day about the 2 great men in my life. I always feel like I never tell my dad how much I appreciate him or how much I love him, so now I have. I am so thankful for all you've taught me.
And to Seth, my wonderful husband. You're a great dad to Bella. Thanks for helping her not be too much of a little princess who knows nothing about sports or getting dirty. You're a brave man for dealing with 2 girls.
I'm feeling very lucky this father's day and just wanted to share my joy with everyone.

Summer is officially here!

We are loving the weather and the fact that summer is here! Time to swim, play at the park, go to the zoo and best of all, the neighborhood kids are out for the summer and looking to babysit. Bella has been having so much fun in her new pool. We have friends over every day (more for mom's benefit than for Bella's) and love to have picnics in the backyard. Today grandma Pam took Bella to the zoo. It was so much fun. She loved all the animals and was lucky enough to get very close to the giraffe. Although it did scare her a little. We're looking forward to even more fun this summer.

Top 10 reasons why I love being a mom

Lately I've been thinking about how much I enjoy staying home with Bella. I feel like I learn something new everyday. Here are just a few of the reasons why I love being a mom. I had to stop at ten or we'd be here all day.
10. hearing little feet run across the hardwood floor in the morning to my room

9. watching her copy me

8. nap time

7. playing in the backyard

6. cuddling while we watch Finding Nemo

5. going on walks in the stroller

4. play dates

3. watching her understand new concepts

2. getting and giving hugs and kisses

1. hearing I Love You Mommy
I know that was a little much, but I want Bella to know how much I love her and for her to know what joy she brings to my life. I love You!! Thanks for teaching me so much.
