Keeper of the tissues
It's that time again. The time of year when I carry around tissues to wipe runny noses. I hate it. I can't believe it's not even October and I've already had to start. Before I had kids I would always see kids with snot all over their faces and think "how can their mom not see that and be totally grossed out?". Well, now I know. The mom probably did see it, but she couldn't keep up. Every time I turn around I'm wiping a nose, and then half the time I run out of tissue and have to use whatever cloth I happen to have (yes, sometimes that means my shirt or theirs. It's gross I know) I seriously feel like a human tissue most of the time. All I can hope for is a fast winter with very few colds.

So Blue
I've been a little down lately because 2 of my really close friends are moving. I hate it, it's just not fair. Do I sound like my 3 year old? Sorry, I guess I'm just having one of those "poor me's" days, as Marianne would say.
My good friend Sissy just moved to Chicago. She is the kind of girl friend everyone needs in their life. She has been such a blessing in mine. She got me through my divorce, packing boxes and letting me cry until I didn't think I could stop. Her potty mouth makes mine look tame. We love the same books and shows, and have the same sense of humor. She lets me complain about family problems and never tries to tell me what I "should" do. I'm going to miss her. I know I act like she's dying, but moving to Chicago is just too far away.
My other good friend Carolyn is moving as well. Carolyn I met when I moved into this ward. She picked me up when I thought my world was over. She saw a young mother with a little baby, and took us in. She has been the best example to me. She's always lending a hand when needed but never gets taken advantage of, because she knows her limits. I love her! As Bella said yesterday, "Mom I just love Carolyn. She's my favorite uncle. Mom, is she my uncle?". She's only moving to Farmington, (actually up the street from Soni) but it just won't be the same.
I'm so lucky to have these two as friends.

Top 10 reasons why I love being a mom

Lately I've been thinking about how much I enjoy staying home with Bella. I feel like I learn something new everyday. Here are just a few of the reasons why I love being a mom. I had to stop at ten or we'd be here all day.
10. hearing little feet run across the hardwood floor in the morning to my room
9. watching her copy me
8. nap time
7. playing in the backyard
6. cuddling while we watch Finding Nemo
5. going on walks in the stroller
4. play dates
3. watching her understand new concepts
2. getting and giving hugs and kisses
1. hearing I Love You Mommy
I know that was a little much, but I want Bella to know how much I love her and for her to know what joy she brings to my life. I love You!! Thanks for teaching me so much.
