My Big Kid

Today I registered Bella for Kindergarten!
I can't believe the time has come. All of the sudden I understand what all the mothers before me meant when they said you blink and your kids are grown. I seriously feel like that. In fact I was feeling so emotional that I just did a post (I only saved it for my journal, I won't bore everyone else with it) about what each of my kids is like right now. I know I think I'll remember but the truth is I won't if I don't write it down.
I have to admit that I'm a little sad that Bella is going to kindergarten. She's totally ready and I know she'll do great. But part of me is sad that this is the last time she'll be with me all day every day.
Ok now, I know I'm going a little overboard. Considering the fact that she has been going to preschool for the last 2 years and it's only 2 1/2 hours a day which is the same as kindergarten. But there's just something about going to real school with a bunch of kids that I don't know.
Deep breath Amy! You have 5 more months before you need to start getting all worked up over nothing.

I don't know why she makes these weird faces. She had so much fun. She went right with all the other kids and took a tour of the school and the class room. She was most excited about seeing the play ground.

Kindergarten is actually anticapated around here, because we no longer have to pay each month for preschool. First grade is always the depressing time, and then it just goes down hill from there. I am not helping, am I? I know how you feel. It is hard to watch your kids grow, and spend time away from you doing it!

Bella looks SO GROWN UP in the photo with Tanner. I can't believe how fast your girls are growing up!!! She'll LOVE kindergarten!! Just think of all the fun stories she'll have to to tell you each day when she gets home!! You'll see it's not as bad as it seems like it will be. ;)

Yeah, kindergarten was hard, but Jenn is right...it's first grade that gets you. She will LOVE kindergarten.

You're not alone Amy. I felt that same way with my first too. First grade was hard when they are there for 6+ hours a day. I remember being worried Graham wouldn't know where to go for lunch, or what if he gets lost heading to p.e. and silly things like that. But the kids all go together in a pack. It's hard as the mother not to jump in and fix all their problems too. It's part of letting them grow up. Bella is so cute! I am sure she will do great!

I love it. I remember thinking, Im gonna jump for joy when Josh goes to school all day...I actually shed a tear and then...followed the darn bus ALL the way to school to make sure that he made it then parked the car and followed him into his class without him seeing me. Pathetic. We all do it. With Sophie...I was like HELL YES! No tears with that one baby.

I remember when you and Seth were dating and you brought bella over to the old sandy house. AND when you brought her to Dixie. Hahaha. Time flies for sure.

AH! Kindergarten! I have to do that too this year. Although I am all too ready to have my boys going.

Love the pics of the girl in their blessing outfits! They are beautiful. All of your girls are!
