And so begins the name game.........

I hate picking out names. Well that's not true. I should say I hate picking out girl names. Let me rephrase that, I hate picking out girl names with my husband. We never agree.
If you don't know the story of the last 2 names, it's pretty simple. My ex husband was an Ass so I got to pick Bella's name and Seth and I disagreed about every name under the sun, so I finally said I didn't care, which was true, and he picked Claire and we let Bella pick the middle name.
The ironic thing is we had 2 boy names picked out for this pregnancy, and we both really liked them, and I was so sure we were having boys that I honestly hadn't thought of any girl names.
So now people are starting to ask if we've thought of any names for the twins. We originally thought we could each pick a name and we'd have to agree, but that's not turning out to be a good idea. Mostly because we say the name we're thinking about and when we say them together and they don't match at all.
So here we are back at square one. I keep trying to push the thought of naming them aside, but it feels like I get asked every day what names we're thinking about.
My doctor and the ultra sound lady call them Baby A and Baby B, right now that's not sounding so bad.
If you have any good ideas send them my way. I need all the help I can get.

Baby names is one of my favorite subjects. Do you want cutsie matchy names or completely different, or what? Same letter? Anything like that? You've got to throw some names out there so we know what you're thinking. And I can't believe that you let Seth pick the name for Claire...but very impressive he picked a cute name. I want to know what your boy names were. Seriously, I could talk about names all day long.

Bev,
That's so funny. I really don't want anything too cutsie. I don't want people getting annoyed because they can't tell them apart and their names are similar. I really don't have anything to give you to go on. We were at the store last week and the checkers name was Breanna. We kind of liked that. I really like the name Karen, but now I think it's too close to Claire.
And I know Seth did a good job of picking Claire's name.

I know what you mean- we had a name picked out for a boy with Eva, and then we found out it was another girl. Joe and I could not even talk about it, because I would get so irritated. He was determined to pick her name, and I HATED his names. Finally, we agreed on Eva Jane and it was such a relief. Good luck!

Emma and Liv. haha. I just got done watching Bride Wars... if you haven't seen it, then never mind. Picking names is so hard! Jeff picked Macy but I'm so nervous for our other kids cause we don't really agree on many either. Can't wait to see you guys this week!

I'm no help with names...it took me & Nate MONTHS & MONTHS to pick out Kaitlyn's name. We couldn't agree on anything. My Mom would call me with new names everyday while I was in the hospital...some of them were SCARY!! I thought for sure we'd end up naming her Misty 'cause that's the only name I liked for awhile, but I'm glad we decided on Kaitlyn 'cause she's definitely not a Misty (though I do still like the name)! I wish you luck, my friend!!!

Ok, here's some of my favorite girls names (besides Keigan and Mia, of course) -Kate, Hadley, Avery, Ali, Drew, Reese, Kendyl, Maggie...I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them now. Good luck! You've still got a while. Baby A and Baby B work for now, right?

DONT match the names. I hate that. These are going to be two different kids. Give them TWO different names. I love the idea of you and he picking your favorite names and then letting it go. LOVE IT!

Oh good luck. I think picking name is so fun, but so hard too. Trent and I each got to pick a name with our twins. But we did have some veto power too. ;)

I love the names: Addison, Nia, Riley, Kennedy, Maggie, and obviously Oakley, Paige, and Morgan...:)

Sometimes you just have to see the baby(s) and it will come to you. Good Luck!

Oh geez Aims, welcome to my club. I HATE thinking about it. It stresses me out so much. So much pressure. I have stopped thinking about it and I seriously will not be looking at another name book until this girl is in my arms. My brain is frazzled from thinking about it. And you have to think of 2 names??? Even harder!
