A few mistakes I've made as a mom

1. Teaching Bella "I see London, I see France, I see Bella's underpants"
2. Introducing Bella to "Full House"
3. Leaving Claire in her high chair while I'm out of the room (I don't want to even say what she's done)
4. Taking the girls to Parsons Bakery every day (our friend Kim takes way too good care of us there)
5. Letting Bella take a toy and book to bed (It's now turned into every toy and book she can fit on her pillow)

Not to be too negative here are a few things I think I've done right
1. Showing my love of books and school
2. My love of Coke
3. Church attendance
4. Swimming lessons
5. Admitting when I'm wrong

That's a great list! I love #1! I definitely have my list of mistakes, too! Being a Mom is definitely a "hands on" learning experience, isn't it?!? I could add a dozen or more to your things you've done RIGHT! You are a WONDERFUL Mom!!!

the high chair thing i can relate to. we had to get a new one with a strap because she was standing up so much. the one about bella and the toy/book to bed is pretty funny. being a mom has made me realize who I really am, and that i hope my kids are better.

I think both lists are great! You should be proud- nothing on the wrong list are going to land them in counseling! You are a great mom, and you should be proud!!

Admitting when you are wrong? What? You need to amend that one and put unless I am arguing with my husband.

I have to admit though, that Bella is an amazing little girl and you deserve all of the credit.

You can also put on that list that dad taught her to say damnit, but not on purpose.

Oh sweet husband! Yes I was laughing when I put #5 on my good things list. I was waiting to see what you'd say. She is just as stubborn as I am sometimes. But I'd like to think that I thought her its okay to be wrong and we can't be right all the time.
And yes you did teach her the swear word, but really I guess we should blame it on Dr. Cox and JD.

I love this. Love the book/toy to bed one. That has turned into coloring books and crayons on their beds at our house. Not a good thing. Even the "mistakes" will be fun memories though. You're a cute mom.

You are such a cute little mom. I would say you've done the most important things right! i.e. love of Coke.

p.s. For me, it's Diet Coke. To Tessa, having a sprite is "diet coke."

Aims you are the best. No matter what happened in that high chair. The up-side to the Parsons habit is that maybe you'll be named customer of the month soon! My cousin is the proud recipient of that award. Miss you!!!
