I am so excited for tomorrow to be over! I decided that I wouldn't blog about politics this year. It seems to me that people either think they know what they're talking about and they really have no idea, or they do know what they're talking about and it scares me. Either way I'm so excited that tomorrow everything will end. Locally and nationally.
A few things that I won't miss: The debates- I never got to actually hear much about what the politicians thought because they were both too busy bashing each other. The Ads- again slamming the other person and nothing about the issues. Judgemental Utah Mormons-(I won't go there) Ellen Degeneres- We get it you support prop. 8! Elizabeth Hasselback- We get it you're a republican! The one thing I did enjoy.......SNL.
Wish me luck tomorrow. I'll be the dumb one who put off voting, and waited until the last day, standing in line with 2 kids.

I am excited to find out what direction our country is going to go. And when I say excited, I mean nervous, scared, etc...
Amen to that sista! Just an idea...you should call a friend that is voting tomorrow too, that has kids as well, and switch babysitting each others kids so you can go to the poll with just yourself! Courtney Miles and I are switching watching each others kids tomorrow so we can stand in line and vote in peace!!!! Hallelujah is right! Good luck!
Oh man I hear ya Amy - we were totally on the same level this morning. Like everyone else I am sure!
Im with ya girl! i just voted and i am sooooo glad it's over! Can't wait to see who wins- as if we don't already know!
Ellen Degeneres is opposed to Prop. 8. If you want a ban on gay marriage you are in support of Prop. 8--I know, it's so confusing! We've had to do a lot of educating the public because everyone thinks it's the other way around. I hope it passes- I've been addicted to cnn.com all day. I'm so happy for the election to be over. Hopefully this will bring our Nation in a new direction. Thanks for inviting me into the inner circle Amy. Your family is amazing. I've
Ha ha. Funny post. I'm with you about Ellen and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. So annoying. SNL was great though. We've watched the Sarah Palin rap so many times and I still cry from laughing so hard.
so i'm from utah AND i'm a mormon...crap does that make me judgmental?? just kidding amy! I'm sooo glad it's over too, well at least the main part is. we'll be hearing about it for days.
Nikki-That was smart of you and Cort to tend for each other. Most of my friends were smart and voted early. But it actualy turned out good. I didn't even have to wait in line and it only took 5 minutes.
Mandy- I realized my mistake about Ellen and prop.8 the next day, I jst never changed it. Sorry I figured people would know what I mean and that I'm a little slow.
Huggs- I don't think you fall into the judgemental people I was talking about. I was refering to something that had been on the news, but I didn't want to bring it up again.
