I may be the only one who thinks this

I've been wanting to say something about this for awhile and I haven't. Mostly because I didn't want to offend anyone. But I can't take it any more.
Am I the only one who remembers that Michael Jackson was weird? Here's just a few examples: Never land Ranch, Accusations of sexual abuse against boys (and paying millions to settle), The Martin Bashir interview, Changing his skin color, Taking his new born baby home from the hospital with the placenta all over and leaving the mom (he told that story in his own words), Dangling his baby over a hotel room balcony, his chimpanzee Bubbles that he carried around and dressed like himself. I know there's more but you get the point.
Don't get me wrong I agree he was talented and in his early days accomplished a lot.
But seriously, if I see one more crazy person crying over his death I might scream. After all he's just a celebrity. His job was to perform and he did a good job.
I think it's fair to remember the good things about someone when they pass away, but I feel like everything I'm seeing or reading is making him into some sort of God, like he was perfect. And I've yet to meet any perfect person, especially him.
Sorry to be so negative. First my post about snails and now MJ.
On a positive note I did have an ultra sound today and I took Jan, Laura and Sharla. It was awesome to see that everything is going great and the babies are doing fine. Plus it was nice to have Jan and my sisters there and enjoy lunch at The Cheesecake factory.

I agree!! He was so weird! It is interesting to see photos of him- all the many changes, like a cleft in his chin! He had surgery to put a cleft in his chin. Who does that?! I remember an interview where someone asked him how many surgeries he had, and he said 2. He had a sad childhood I am sure, but you are right, people are putting him on a pedestal, that I am not sure he deserves!

First Congrats on a enjoyable ultrasound and lunch. I loved ultrasounds!

And yes, MJ was one weird human being. I did LOVE his music, but the rest of the stuff you mentioned proves that he was truly psychotic!

I hear ya AMY! I totally agree. I get so disgusted seriously looking at the most recent pictures of him - what (lack of another word) freak!!!

I LOVE ultrasound days! And the cheesecake factory was an added bonus!

I am going to be gone next weekend - of course. Dang it! I think Lori is planning on sticking around because she is due pretty much anytime. Her baby is breech! So on Monday they will decide what they are going to do. Aaron gave her a blessing last night, so we shall see....

I agree. I do love him and his music but I'm so sick of hearing about him...and I swear all the really weird stories are coming out now. So sad for him to be remembered for that. Yay for another ultrasound!

Totally! He was so awesome in the 80's - then out came wacko jacko! too bad, because he was talented back in the day.
So happy to hear about your ultrasound and that your babies are doing well!!!

Oh, I SO agree with you!!! The more pictures & videos I see of people crying & heartbroken over his death the CRAZIER I get!!! He was a NUTCASE!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way!

One of these days I need to go eat at the Cheesecake Factory--I keep hearing everyone rave about it!!

I'm with you 100%! Did you hear that they proposed to have a federal stamp made to memorialize him and also a national holiday to honor his humanitarian efforts? (Those efforts, by the way, consist of a 1984 visit to an LA burn unit and inviting a 14-year-old girl to his house to had a dying wish to go there. Noble efforts, but not national holiday-worthy). Congrats on a good ultrasound!
