Voice Over for SLCC

Did the voice over for my spot with Salt Lake Community College. It was fun and easy!

Snowed In

Seth took a weekend job as a driver for Sundance to earn some extra money. So we had a sleepover in mom's bed. Then in the morning we stayed in bed watching tv all morning while it snowed. Syd and I finally went outside around lunch time to start shoveling. It was a fun weekend, but we missed dad.

Twin Stuff

The twins set up all their stuffed animals outside their door before bed. It was so cute! I love how they think.

Then they wore matching outfits from Alden and Laura Lee to school the next day.

Amy- SLCC

I booked a fun job as a welding student at Salt Lake Community College. That was defiantly something I've never done before and probably never will again. I even had a stunt double since I don't know how to weld they didn't want me getting hurt.

It was a lot of fun!

Amy- Dentrix job

I booked a fun job as a receptionist at a dental office. It went so well they said they would like to hire me again! And they did a week later. But the make up artist for the day did a terrible job.  I still had a fun time and they said they will let me know when they are ready to film their training video that they want me to be a part of! Yeah!

Claire's Overstock.com Job

Claire started the year off booking a job modeling for Overstock.com

She had a great time! She was in her element! Plus they let her keep all the clothes which she loved!

Claire's Birthday Celbration

She woke up first thing and had presents and presents and breakfast in bed. She requested a pancake as big as the plate which was what she got! 

Sweet Linda Sumsion made her a cake fit for a chocolate factory which was perfect for her birthday at Mrs Cavanghas Chocolate.

The party included a tour of the factory, making their own chocolates, games, picking out ice cream and picking out a treat. It was a great sugar rush of a party.

Dear Claire

Dear Claire,

We've had a great day today. You woke up and had breakfast (a pancake as big as the plate) and presents in bed. 

At school I brought you a Jamba Juice and your teacher let you pick the song for Go Noodle.

For dinner we had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and vegtables- all your choice.

Then grandpa and grandma came over for cake and to give you a present.

I'd say it was a good day!

But I think my favorite was when dad and I kissed you good night and read the letter I found about a mother who's daughter is turning 9.

It said everything I felt. 

You've accomplished a lot in your first 9 years and the next will be even better.

We love you! Words can not express that enough!

We're proud of you! And you bring us so much joy!

My thoughts of Claire Bear

Tonight I laid with Claire in her bed until she fell asleep. It was wonderful! I just love her so much. I said a silent prayer as she held my hand in the darkness that I will know how to be the best mom for her. I want her to grow up knowing I did everything I could for her. As challenging as she can be I wouldn't want her any other way.

Dear Bella

Dear Bella,

I can't help but think of where I was when you were born every time your birthday rolls around. I was so scared and felt alone, but having you made me feel like there was hope and purpose in life.

I've loved watching you grow. You're now going into young womens and I'm so proud of you! You are such a great example to your younger sisters. And you're and example to me and dad.

When I found out you went to church alone in the Salt Lake ward I was sad, and scared for you, but also so proud that you would chose to go. I love the light in your eyes! You have such a strong testimony! I know your Heavenly Father loves you just like we do!

I can't wait to see what this year brings!

Proud of Bella & Claire

Tonight as I was tucking Claire in she told me how she was scared the other night when I went on a girls night with my friends. She was scared I got in a car accident and she cried. BUt then she decided t read her scriptures and say a prayer. She apparently said 5 because she was so scared.

I was so proud of her that her first thought was to read her scriptures and say a prayer. 

That made me so happy!

Also tonight I got a text from Bella's Salt Lake ward with a picture of Bella at YW. They kidnapped her from activity days and took her to YW. I could tell by her face she loved it.

What a blessing that she has such great leaders there and here who love her and teach the gospel to her.

I love my girls so much!!

Time Out For Girls

Bella and I went to Time Out For Girls and had a great time. It was so much to spend time with just her and be uplifted. Some of the talks were over her head. BUt some were just what I think she needed to hear. Plus Mercy River sang and we went and talked to Soni which she liked. PLus we went out to eat and saw Sally during the lunch break on Saturday.

It was such a fun weekend.

Night with the twins

Tonight Bella was with Kenny, Claire and Seth went to a Jazz game with her Jr Jazz team so it was just me and the twins. We went to a movie they've really wanted to see, Trolls. Then came home, read books in my bed and they fell asleep.

Oh I love being their mom! They make me so happy. I hope they know how much I love them!

Bella's Primary Program

It's two days later and I'm still on a spiritual high from the primary program in Bella's other ward. It was so wonderful!

Claire & Bre's Job- Christmas Ad

The girls were all picked to do a spot for Mormon.org for Christmas. But when we got there they realized Syd and Bre were twins and didn't want to use both of them. Syd didn't mind since she got to play the kindle and eat treats!
