Night Before School

The kids got their traditional fathers blessing and I got one too since it helped so much last year.
They have all their stuff ready to go.
I can't believe Bela is starting Jr High!
The twins are excited to have Claire's old teacher and be together.
Claire is nervous and excited to start 4th grade.
Should be a fun year!

Dentrix Job for Bre & Claire

Bre and Claire booked a job for Dentrix. Actually they said whatever twin wanted to come could and Syd said Bre could. But I think she regretted it because she was bored. But it was fun to watch them and we enjoyed the food while they worked.

Twin Stuff

The twins set up all their stuffed animals outside their door before bed. It was so cute! I love how they think.
Then they wore matching outfits from Alden and Laura Lee to school the next day.

Birthday Tables for the Twins

Syd and Bre had their first birthday tables at school. They requested In n Out and for grandpa to come. I'd say they were pretty happy! Claire happen to be coming to lunch as we were leaving and she was able to give grandpa a big hug.

Birthday Happenings for the twins

Syd and Bre were so excited for their birthday! They had both talked about it for weeks! They woke up to presents and breakfast in bed (but they decided to eat on breakfast tables on the floor). A few days later there was a party- complete with a bounce house, face painting, popcorn machine, twister and sidewalk chalk. And of course Linda Sumsion brought them a cake that they got to design. They were thrilled!
Grandma and grandpa also came to wish them a happy birthday and bring a few presents!
They had a great time!

Dear Sydney

Dear Sydney,

Oh what a sweet girl you are! You have so many amazing qualities. You're a great reader and a great friend to everyone you meet. I love how much you love school and love learning.

One of my favorite things about you is that you never want anyone to go without. Even if one of your sisters has done something to you and should get in trouble, you always say you don't want them to. You have such sweet tender spirit and I love it!

I hope you have a wonderful birthday! You make life so much fun! I love the way you interact with Bre and how much you love her.

Have a fantastic birthday!

We love you!

Love,

Mom & Dad

First Day of School 2016

Last week I had a crying breakdown when it hit me that everyone will be gone all day.
Just realizing all the good times we've had over the years when they were younger and that, that period of my life is gone was sad.
But Seth helped me realize I was so sad because I loved it so much! And at least I had the last 12 years to look back on as a stay at home mom.
What a blessing. Despite all the financial hardship we've had I was always able to stay with my girls and I'm so thankful!
The twins were really excited but also a little nervous for all day school. Claire and Bella were super happy to be going back!
The day ended up going pretty fast because there are so many projects I have to get done.
And I am still able to have all 4 of them at the same school and walk up and back with them.

Merry Christmas 2015

Christmas was bittersweet this year. Without Bella it just wasn't the same.
The girls still had fun opening their presents. Claire's big present from Santa this year was an ipod. He even hid it!!
When Bella got home the girls huddled around her as she opened everything that was under the tree for her. And she was thoughtful and had made present for each of them even though we drew names.

Happy Birthday Syd and Bre

The twins had a great birthday! They woke up and for the first time had presents and breakfast in bed in their own bed! With their sisters of course.
Then it was off to school to celebrate with ice cream sandwiches (their choice). Later that day Linda and Allen dropped by with a cake! Again the twins picked out what they wanted a few weeks ago. Because it was a busy night with lessons, they had happy meals in the car on the way to their lessons. But they were happy. The next day after school we grabbed some friends who were walking home and had cake.
It was great!
