Claire's Utah Game

Seth went to her first Utah game of the season. She had a great time with her dad. Especially because they stopped for Wendy's on the way there, she had treats during the game and got to stay up late.

First Day of School 2016

Last week I had a crying breakdown when it hit me that everyone will be gone all day. 

Just realizing all the good times we've had over the years when they were younger and that, that period of my life is gone was sad.

But Seth helped me realize I was so sad because I loved it so much! And at least I had the last 12 years to look back on as a stay at home mom.

What a blessing. Despite all the financial hardship we've had I was always able to stay with my girls and I'm so thankful!

The twins were really excited but also a little nervous for all day school. Claire and Bella were super happy to be going back!

The day ended up going pretty fast because there are so many projects I have to get done.

And I am still able to have all 4 of them at the same school and walk up and back with them.

Last days of summer at Lagoon

With summer quickly coming to an end we hit Lagoon a beach one day and then Lagoon the next. We learned that going to Lagoon the night before school starts is the best night because no one is there.

Seth took the day off and we all had a great time!

Bre's Dentist Appointment

We took the kids to the dentist and no one had cavities except the one person who brushes and flosses every night! Poor Bre had 7! It was so sad. The dentist said she just has soft gums and there's nothing she did wrong. 

She was so brave.

Claire of course had fun waiting!

Amy's Work- Squatty Potty

I booked a fun job with Squatty Potty. It was a long day but fun since I've never worn a dress like that. The girls liked all the pictures and wished they could have been there. That would have been fun. 

Boondocks fun!

Kelli and Nate went out of town and we got to have Hailee stay with us for a few days. We made the most of it. We went to Boondocks and played laser tag, mini golf and bowling! It was a great day! They all had so much fun!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

For grandpa's birthday we celebrated at lagoon and lagoon a beach!

It was a great day! Not many grandpa's would spend the day at lagoon but he did and we all had a great time!

The girls are so lucky to have such a great grandpa!

Wonderful Day

Summer has just flown by!

I just wanted to document what a special time I had today with each of my kids. 

I was able to sit on the bunk bed with the twins and read.

In the afternoon Claire and I went on Pinterest and made some crafts together.

Then tonight I took Bella golfing so she could practice her putting and chipping. It was such a great day!

I love being a mom to these amazing girls!

Summer Day

I just wanted to journal about what a great day I had with the girls. Although Bella was gone, so that wasn't good. But the other 3 and I had a normal day. We ran errands, read books and went to a wedding shower.

I just love being with them.

Claire asked me "mom, do you like being a mom?". I said "Yes, I love it!" She said "Is it hard?" I said "Yes! Everyday, but it's the best thing ever!"

I'm excited for Bella to be here tomorrow.

Our family always feels incomplete when she's gone.

Twins Cooking Class

Naomi, Bre and Syd went to a cooking class on bread making.

They had a great time making pizza, bread and a cinnamon roll!

Twins & Mom Young Living Shoot

We booked a fun easy job for Young Living Essential Oils, but it was the same day as the ward camp out. We were late getting there and the twins had a hard time holding in their tears. They were amazingly mature and tried their best.

Luckily we still made it for dinner and all the fun at the camp out.

Trek 2016

Seth was asked to be a captain for trek. A few days before there was a hoe down and I got to go with him. It was lots of fun! Neither of us had ever been so Seth was really excited!

He loved trek and learned a lot. It will be great when the kids can go someday.

Girls Day At Lagaoon A Beach

We had our first day at Lagoon A Beach. It was great!

Spring Cleaning

Since we were out of town for spring break I told the kids they had to make up for the spring cleaning we missed.

They were good sports and Bella even put on "It's a hard knock life" while they cleaned.

She's a stinker. What a cutie!

Last Day Of Kindergarten

My sweet little twins Sydney and Breanna are growing up way too fast! They graduated from kindergarten today. The school year just flew by! 

I'm so proud of how well they studied their numbers, and letters. They are so great at reading! I just love them so much!

I love being a mom to twins!

Last Week Of School

This week has been exhausting! The kids are so excited for the last day of school. Especially Claire. She has had so much energy! Every night she's had a hard time falling asleep because of how excited she is. She literally can't turn her brain off thinking about the next day's activities.

On Sunday night I went into her room to find she had laid out a different shirt for each day of the week. She said she'd been planning this out since the first day of school and I believe here.

She's such a chatterbox. We can't get her to stop talking, ever! I love it! But at the same time she only hears herself and won't stop. 

Today she won a big reading award at her school. I was so thankful I got to be there. It brought tears to my eyes. I knew how much she had worked on it. She tried so hard to finish every book and write a book report. She ended up with 120 books and book reports. She beat out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade for the honor. When they called her name I even stood up and clapped! I was so happy.

Tomorrow we are doing the tradition ice cream at rocket park after school and then slip n slide at Chelsie's. Then that night they've been invited to a late night movie outside at a friends.

Hopefully Kenny will let Bella go.

He's been worse than ever lately. I was hoping things would change since he broke up with his girlfriend. Poor Bella just cried to me today because she hates going with him and he's such a manipulator. Trying to twist things around and always make me look bad. Luckily she can see through everything. I'm just scared to death about him taking her to Denmark. She doesn't want to go and I don't want her to go. I don't trust him and I can hardly think about it without getting sick to my stomach.

The kids miss her so much! The twins especially! They ask everyday when she'll just stay here. I hate how much she's gone. I just want her home all the time. I want to feel like a family everyday.

Camden's Play

We got to see Camden in a play at Center Point and he did a great job as always. Love this kid!

Spring Dance Recital

Claire, Syd, and Bre had their final spring recital. They all did a great job. It's been fun taking dance at the same place as the Nelsen cousin's. Grandma Brown was able to come and the Sorenson's even showed up. 

We had a great time!

Spring Break California!!!

We had the best Spring Break!! We drove to Las Vegas and stayed the night. We went to the M&M Factory and all the other kid places on the strip. The next day we drove to California. We went to Disneyland for 2 days, the beach for 3 days and the last stop was lunch at the American Girl Restaurant.

It was a great trip! All the girls had something liked the most. Claire LOVED getting autographs from the characters. Anytime we thought we lost her we'd find her in line for a signature. It was so cute! The twins really liked the beach! They could have stayed there all day every day. Bella had a lot of fun at the American Girl Restaurant. You can tell from her smile in all the pictures.

And of course we all loved that grandpa came! What a blessing that he was able to come and go on all the rides with us!

On the way home we stayed in St George with Maurene. 

It was such a fun week!!
